Esse compacto realmente me assustou com a diferença do som dos caras após pouco tempo do último cd que apesar de boas faixas não fechava no geral para mim. Com um amigo fanático pela banda, logo que vazou, soltei o link para ele e em pouquissimo tempo já tinha ouvido da somzera do início ao fim (agora, no segundo compacto, com um toque feminino a mais na banda).
Esse EP representa o primeiro passo dessa grande banda de pós-hardcore:
The group initially sent a demo to Equal Vision Records and a representative from the label flew out immediately to sign the group. Since the release of Right Now You're in the Best of Hands... the band has toured the United States extensively headlining & opening for other major acts such as Coheed and Cambria.
Não sou fã de hardcore mas essa banda entrou para o meu top 5 e nunca mais saiu. Com dois cds apenas eles deixam saudades e hoje já se desmembraram e várias bandas/projetos.
A track list do compacto vem com várias clássicas do 'Right Now', mais umas inéditas que levam alguns erros de gravação porêm nada crasso.
Não dá para imaginar como Erlend Øye (guitar & vocals) consegue manter esse ótimo projeto 'eletronic dance', ainda sim deixa-lo melhor no segundo cd. (por enquanto o melhor de 2009, for me)
Noroegueses são estranhos, ainda mais residindo em Berlim, gravando seu primeiro compacto no México.
Mais um filhote, bem criado para o aniversário da minha irmãzona no Tosqueria, em plena terça de carnaval. Apesar do som (ou melhor da acústica, já q as caixinhas eram JBL) foi divertido emendar 3 tapes aleatoriamente, sem nem um track list, afinal já estava tudo pré aquecido!
